The Brief
To create a forest park master plan in existing rice paddy fields.
The Concept
To create a huge island in the centre between 2 new roads and highways and to cater for an auditorium for concerts and picnic areas.
The Challenge
Was to excavate topsoil stockpiled to one side and excavate subsoil to create island in the middle of this forest park. Water from the yellow river was introduced to create a waterscape around the island so that the public could use Canoes.
The Implementation
Work was implemented by the government.
Timing
Took a few years to implement.
